How to prepare?

Everything starts with the registrationform. We need to have basic information regarding age and fertility circumstances to determine your chances of having succes. Further it is most important to prepare well.

During the pre treatment test results are giving an accurate indication about your chances.

In the beginning, its all about diagnostics. This can legally be done in The Netherlands. Bloodtests will show hormone levels and in some cases, with donors, infectious disease tests are required. It is strongly advised that man do a sperm test.

Further, no less important is the ultra sound scan. It gives an impression of the health status of the Uterus.

Based on the outcome of the hormone level tests, a prescription for stimulating medication will follow. Do not start using this medication before the cycle you go abroad for the treatment.

During the use of the medication, one or more ultra sound scans are made to monitor the grow progress of the follicle. Are the follicles big enough, its time to leave for the treatment abroad.
